Cometer Erros!!!

Go ahead and make a mistake or two!
(in Harvard Business Review Tip of the day, 17 Sept 2010)

Very few people feel comfortable making mistakes at work. They fear they will lose the respect of their managers and peers, and that their reputations will be tarnished. Yet, mistakes are often the best teachers. It's impossible for your people to learn something new if they only do things they know well. Create a mistake-making culture. Encourage your people to take risks. Help them accept their gaffes and share what they've learned from them. Of course, there are times when blunders are too costly. But for those less mission-critical times, ask your people to approach problems as learners, not experts.

Isto é tão dificil!!!! Até porque na maioria das vezes a estratégia (ou ausência dela) é:

A "sink or swim" approach often results in drowning. Provide your new hire with support and a view into how things really work at your company. Give him early feedback about his performance. Help the new candidate on board.

Hum!?!?!? YES!

O 11 de Setembro foi um susto mau para todo o mundo. Estava no Porto a trabalhar e a minha tia (do Porto) que nem sabia onde eu estava, telefonou-me em pânico preocupada sabendo que eu ando sempre a viajar...

Para mim o 12 do ano passado também foi um grande susto... Longe de casa, vivi um sismo de intensidade 7.4 de Richter... não foi coisa nada fácil. Vivi momentos de muito medo e bastante ansiedade!
Por isso não se admirem... Eu prefiro mesmo é o 13!!!

Mas este ano estive rodeada de mimo e carinho de familia e amigos. Para completar... Supertramp no Pav. Atlântico, não podia ter sido melhor.

Voltei às aulas de Taichi, estou morta de cansaço e com as pernas feitas em fanicos mas que saudades eu tinha... que maravilha!

Sapatos

Finalmente montei os armários dos sapatos... pois tive de ir comprar mais um porque assim fica tudo arrumadinho. Pois é os outros 3 não chegaram!

Amanhã a ver se deixo tudo nos sitios e lindinho!
Eh eh eh... Tenho um closet só de sapatos e malas! Sou mesmo maluka!
